🔄 Enhanced Recall Settings for Work Order Types
We've added a new feature that allows users to define whether a specific work order type is available for recall. This ensures better control over which work orders can be recalled when needed.
🔧 Default Recall Periods for Contractors
Contractors can now set a default recall period for their work within the billing settings of their profile. Additionally, they can assign recall periods to individual services, allowing for flexibility when different services require different recall periods.
Admin users can also view and update both the default recall period and service-specific recall periods from the contractor view screen should they need too
Should a recall period is set at the service level, it will override the default recall period for that specific service.
📢 Recalling Closed Work Orders
Users can now recall a closed work order if the work was not completed satisfactorily. Simply select Recall from the Actions Wheel, and a confirmation panel will display key details, including contractor assignment and editable fields such as:

Before submitting, users must enter a reason for the recall. Once submitted, a new work order is created with a recall link.
If a work order cannot be recalled, the system will provide clear feedback instead of opening the recall panel.
🔁 Convert Work Orders to a Recall
Need to convert an existing work order to a recall? Now you can!
A new Convert to Recall option in the Actions Wheel opens a side panel with a work order finder form.
Here, the list of available work orders is filtered by site and, if applicable, by contractor, to ensure only relevant work orders appear.
Once submitted, the system will link the work order as a recall, streamlining the process.
✅ Clearer Display of Linked Work Orders
We’ve improved the linked work order section to better highlight parent work orders and display any associated recalls more clearly.
✅ New Work Order Recall Notification Badge
Users will now see a badge on work orders that are recalls, making it easier to identify and manage them.
✅ Enhanced Work Order Filtering for Recalls
The work order index now includes new filters to help users quickly find:
- Work orders that have a recall type
- Work orders that have been recalled
These enhancements make it easier than ever to track and manage recalled work orders efficiently.
