Dashboard overview

An Overview Of The Contractor Dashboard, Explaining How Launchpad Tiles Help You Quickly Access Quotes, Work Orders, Planned Maintenance, Invoicing, And Compliance Tasks That Need Your Attention.

Contractor dashboard overview

The contractor dashboard is the main landing page you will see when logging into expansive FM. It gives you a quick visual summary of the areas that need your attention, such as work orders, quotes, invoices, planned work and compliance. Each launchpad tile acts as a shortcut into the relevant area of the system, helping you get to the information you need without searching through multiple menus.

Dashboards are role-based, so the tiles you see may vary depending on your access, client setup and permissions. These launchpad tiles are bespoke and configurable, meaning clients can choose which tiles are shown and may rename them to match their own terminology. Because of this, you might see different tile names from the examples listed below.

What it shows

What you can do from here

Quote Action Required

Quote requests that need a response from you.

Open the quote request, review the job details, add your costs and submit the quote back to the client for review.

Quotes Requested

All quote requests that have been sent to your business.

Track new and existing quote requests, check due dates and make sure nothing is missed.

Awaiting Feedback

Quotes you have already submitted that are waiting for the client to approve, reject or request more information.

Monitor submitted quotes and see which items are still with the client for a decision.

Work Orders

Live work orders assigned to your business, including jobs that may be new, in progress, overdue or awaiting update.

Open assigned jobs, review attendance requirements, add updates, assign engineers and manage progress through to completion.

PPM Calendar

Upcoming planned preventive maintenance visits and scheduled work.

Plan resource, prepare engineers and make sure upcoming planned visits are attended on time.

Invoicing

Invoice information linked to completed work, submitted costs and invoice progress.

Check what is ready to invoice, review submitted invoices and track invoice status where this is enabled for your client.

Compliance

Compliance documents, accreditations, certifications and upcoming expiry dates.

Keep your contractor profile up to date, upload renewed documents and reduce the risk of work being delayed due to expired information.

Tip: If a launchpad tile shows a number, you can click into it to see the filtered list behind that figure, helping you move directly from the dashboard summary into the actions that need completing. Launchpad tiles can also be configured differently for each client, so the dashboard you see for one client may not look the same as another depending on how that client wants their launchpads set up and which actions they want to highlight.
