How do I include a part so it is available for costing?
Flag Parts With Pre-Defined Costs So They Are Available When Adding Costs.
Please ensure you have the following feature flag enabled in configuration variables:
Feature Flag Allow Converting Custom Parts To System Parts
You can also set the following against each contractor under the Billing section:
Allow custom parts when costing? Yes/ No
- Head to the Settings index and select Parts
- From here, select the relevant parts record
- Within the details tab, select the 'Available for Costing?' field and mark it as Yes
- When this is selected, the contractor assigned to the part will be able to select the part from a dropdown when adding a parts cost line
