How do I manage my imports?
Get Better Oversight Of All Imports.
To get started, please ensure you have the Import Manage permission enabled. Users will also need the import permission for any areas they want to action, such as the asset import permission or sites import permission.
- Head to Settings and select Imports
- From here, users can see a list of all existing imports and they have the option to start a new import in the top right
- Starting a new import will show the user a modal where they can pick the type of import they want to action
- Users can then select whether they want to use the import to create new records, or update existing ones
- The modal will then display clear instructions depending on the action they want to proceed with
- Users can then download a form of template which they can populate and then re-upload within the file upload area
- This import process will look the same if users action it from the Settings page or from the individual area such as the Sites index or Assets index
