View all remedial actions and their associated details.
Creating a Remedial Action
In order to add Remedial Actions to a work order, you must first have the relevant Create Remedial Action permissions.
- Navigate to the Remedial Actions tab and select Add Remedial Action
- From here, you will see a side pane where you can write a Summary of the action, as well as select which location the action applies too
- There is also a toggle to flag whether the action affects compliance
- Once you have hit Save, you will see the remedial action and it's details under the Remedial Actions Tab
- You can amend the action by selecting the row
How do I view a list of all of my remedial actions?
To see the index view of Remedial Actions and make changes to Assignees, Linked Work Orders, or Status you must have the Remedial Actions Manage permission.
- By selecting, Remedial Actions from the left-hand navigation, you will be taken to a list of all remedial actions, including any completed actions
Assigning A Remedial Action
- To assign a remedial action, you can select the relevant row, either from the Remedial Action's tab or the index, to show the remedial action's side pane
- From here, you can amend the Assignee field within the Details tab
- Once a user is assigned, you can go to the Remedial Actions index and filter by Assignee
- You can change the assigned user by repeating the same steps above
Changing the Status of a Remedial Action
- Select the relevant row to show the remedial action's side pane
- From here, within the details tab, you will see a status field with a drop-down where you can select from the following statuses:
- To Do
- In Progress
- Done
- Abandoned
Create a Linked Work Order
- Select the relevant remedial action row and navigate to the Remedial Work Orders tab within the side pane
- From here you will see any existing linked work orders, as well as the option to create a new work order should one be yet to exist
Link an Asset
- Select the relevant remedial action row and navigate to the Assets tab within the side pane
- From here, you will see the option to link an existing asset
Upload Files
- Should there be any supporting documents, these can be uploaded within the Files tab of the remedial action's side pane
Activity Log & Comments
- Within the remedial action's side pane, users can also see an Activity Log for the action, as well as a Comments tab that will display both internal and public comments
- Should a user be assigned to the remedial action, they will also receive a notification each time a new comment is added
Please note, there are different permissions that determine which comments a user can view within the Comments tab here, depending on whether users should be able to create and view internal or public comments, or have the ability to manage all comments. Please check within the relevant role within Settings to tailor these.
Bulk Update Actions
- Should users want to update multiple remedial actions at once, they can do so by heading to the remedial actions index and selecting the relevant actions using the checkboxes to the left
- From here, users can select bulk update and amend any of the below fields:
- Status
- Assignee
- Required for compliance?
