Support can set these IDs up for you - so please reach out via the customer portal should you want to get these set up, or amend your current set up.

Check-in Verification methods

User Login flags:

Force Verification Method On Sign In & Force Verification Method Approval 👤

- If users want to authenticate specific users of the platform, they can toggle on the force verification method flag

- Here, once a contractor has entered their name, they will be asked to add a new verification method, if they are yet to set one up

- Admins can choose to allow both email and mobile verification by amending the app verification methods in the above configuration verification area

- Once a contractor has entered their details, they will then be sent a code to their chosen method which they can then enter on the app

- The verification method can now be approved by contractor admins for future use

- However, if the verification method approval flag is turned on, a contractor admin will need to approve the chosen method before the contractor is able to sign in

- For this, contractor admins will be notified via email with a link to their profile where they will then see the manage team section needs attention

- From this section, the contractor admin can then approve or reject the method

- If a contractor has already set up their verification method and had it approved, they will be sent a login link to their method of choice

- Until the contractor admin has approved the method, each time a contractor logs in, they will see the below message

Location-Flags:
Check In Location Verification & Check In Enforce Location Access Code On Verification Fail 🗺️

It is important to note - location verification feature flags will only work if the site geo-fence is set up correctly. Please ensure this is completed beforehand.

- To avoid contractors being able to check in from anywhere other than the site associated with the work order, users can set up location verification

- Here, contractors will be asked to share their location when they try to check in before they are able to proceed with the work order

- If the location matches the Site's geo-fence, then the app will display a location verified message and the contractor can continue on to selecting a work order

- If the location does not match, the app will show location not verified

- Where the location does not match, and the feature flag for location access code is turned on, users will see the option to enter a site access code

- Contractors can then obtain the code from the site manager, or their point of contact on the site

- For Site users to find the code, they can head to the relevant site and hit the actions wheel, where they will see the 'Access Code' option

- The code can also be accessed by Site users by heading to the relevant work order and hitting the actions wheel from there

- These codes regenerate every half an hour to ensure the validity of the method

If a contractor does not select the option to share location within their browser, the app will show location unavailable and they will not be able to proceed. For this reason, it's important they allow this to be shared.

Start Work Checks

- Once an engineer has checked in, if you have start work checks enabled for the particular workflows enabled on the engineering app, they will be required to complete the checks before accessing the work order

Checkout Verification methods

- Similar to the location verification for checking in, users can also enable this option when contractors check out

- Here, the same flow as above will be followed, where the contractor will be required to share their location on the device they are using

- If the location matches the site's geo-fencing, the contractor can continue with checking out

- If the location does not match, they will need to try again or alternatively enter the site access code if the checkout enforce location access code on failure flag is turned on
