How do I use guaranteed maximum price quoting?

Generate Quotes With Flexible Rates.

This feature requires your Support team to do some internal setup before it can be used. Please reach out to them to get started and once they have completed the relevant steps, you can continue to follow the steps below.

Set up a Rate Card Template using the GMP SLA

- Support will have created a new SLA for you to use specifically for GMP

- Once this is done, you can head to the Rate Card Template section and add a new template

- The template can be set up as usual within the scheduling section

- From here, users need to add a primary dimension of SLA

- Users then need to select their new GMP SLA as a value here as well as at least one other value

- Once they are done they can hit Save

Add the new Rate to a contractor

- Now it's time to head to a contractor you would like to use for GMP quoting

- Once you are on the contractor view screen, select the Billing tab and hit Add Rate

- Within the form, select the GMP rate card template you just created from the dropdown

- Continue to add the relevant values to the form and hit Save

Select Guaranteed Maximum Price when requesting a quote

- When created a new quote request, instead of selecting Fixed Quote, select Guaranteed Maximum Price

- Continue to create a quote request as usual

Adding a Quote

- When adding a quote, users will see the option to add a rate on the quote view screen

- From here, they can choose a rate from the dropdown

- If the rate is using contractor working hours, users can then check the box as to whether their attendance will be within working hours or not

- The values of the callour and labour charges will auto-populate accordingly

- If the rate is using time periods, users can select the timer period they will attend from the dropdown within in the attendance field

- Again, depending on the period selected, the labour and callout costs will auto-populate accordingly

- At the bottom of the form, users can then enter the maximum number of labour hours they will charge for

- They can then choose a tax rate and hit Save

Enabling contractors to provide custom GMP rates

- Head to the relevant contractor view screen and select the Quotes tab

- Find the section 'Can this contractor provide custom rates for Guaranteed Maximum Price quotes?' and mark it as Yes

- From here, contractors will see the option to add custom rate within the dropdown when they follow the above steps to add a rate
