How do I use the asset scanner?
Use the in-app camera to scan for assets.
- To find the asset scanner, head to the Assets tab and select the scan icon in the top-right
- From here, you can press the scan icon once more to access the in-app camera
- Once open, you can scan QR codes and barcodes
- If there is an asset in the system that is associated with the scanned code, it will display in the results
- Should no asset exist, you can select the Create Asset option where you will see the Asset Label field pre-populated with the scanned code on the create form
- Once created, should you scan the relevant code, the new asset will display in the search results
- The scanner is also available on asset search in the following places:

Work order creation
- Work order creation (external form)
It's worth noting, assets are only selectable on an external work order form if they have been enabled on the form configuration.
