Managing quotes
This Section Explains Where To Find Quote Requests And How To Respond To Them.
Best practice: Where available, use AI quote upload as the preferred way to upload quotes. This helps read key quote details from the document and can make the submission process quicker and more accurate. If you do not see the AI quote upload option, ask your client to switch this feature on for your contractor account or client setup.
- You will receive an email with the quote request number, due date, attachments, work order details, site details and any assets involved.
- Use the link in the email to open the quote request, or view all quote requests awaiting a response from your dashboard or the left-hand navigation menu.
- Within the quote request screen, use the activity tab to respond to comments and communicate with the client.
- From the quote request page, you can reject the request or add a quote from the blue actions bar.
- If you select Add quote, complete the form with details such as the quote reference number, quote expiry date, lead time, comments and attachments. Important: if you enter a quote expiry date, the quote will expire on that date. If you do not want the quote to expire, leave the expiry date field blank.
- Select the quote to add cost lines.
- When you are happy with the totals, submit the quote.
You can move the quote back to draft if you need to make amendments, provided it has not yet been accepted or moved through any approval process.
