What's new at Expansive this month.

 

Asset Management

- Added a new feature to asset management, that allows users with the relevant permissions to create a new asset or asset model for their asset register. Upon creation, high-level asset details are captured, as well as order information and any associated images or files.

- Added a new feature to asset management that enables users to view a list of their assets that is filterable by various asset characteristics.

- Added a new feature to asset management to allow users to view the details of an individual asset on a dedicated view page. 

- Added a new feature to asset management that enables a unique asset tag to be added to each asset.

- Added a new feature to asset management that enables users to add a unique barcode to each asset. 

- Improved the way assets are created and maintained in the system by introducing a new asset schema and migrating existing asset records to a new asset table.

Users must have the relevant Asset Schema Manage permission to create and amend assets

 

Platform Improvements 

- Added a new feature that enables users to filter work orders by their resolution code. 

- Improved the service request and work order emails to contractors by adding the spend limit to the template.

- Improved the invoice view screen by adding the financial period and invoice reference, so details are easier to access. The mobile view was also improved by adding the invoice status as a badge to make it clearer for users.

- Improved contractor invoice submissions by allowing contractors to add their own invoice reference, making it easier to reconcile invoices from contractors with invoices submitted on Expansive. 

- Improved the engineer check in experience for those who use the engineering app, by introducing a loading screen that displays once a QR code poster has been scanned.

- Improved the site view page, so users can see what tags are associated with a site more clearly, by displaying tags beneath the site name.

- Improved the work order calendar by anchoring dates to the current day, so users can see dates relative to this date more easily.

- Improved the form to create sites by making the form site specific and removing any unrelated fields.

- Improved the assets index page by making it filterable by parent location. 

- Improved the invoice process by pre-populating the PO number when creating a standalone invoice and automatically reflecting any changes made to the PO number on the relevant invoice. 

 

Software Improvements

- Improved our frontend code library by upgrading our Vue package. 

 

Bug fixes

- Fixed an issue where the work order calendar was crashing when toggling between 'Month' and 'Day'

- Fixed an issue where users were not notified if a record was being used within the system when attempting to delete the record 

- Fixed an issue where users were unable to create and view an invoice without a work order being attached to it.

- Fixed an issue on the asset management navigation menu item.

- Fixed an issue where recurring work schedules were displaying in high numbers on the calendar if their interval period contained a 'w'.

- Fixed an issue where users were unable to create or save and asset group to the root. 

- Fixed an issue where the meta title of pages was not displaying. 

- Fixed an issue where the asset tree was not displaying while creating a linked work order or a linked quote. 

- Fixed an issue where users were unable to add floors and spaces to a Site that had no existing children.

- Fixed an issue where assets weren't editable on mobile as the edit icon disappeared. 

- Fixed an issue where users were unable to create a linked work order and the transition would only display a loading screen.

- Fixed an issue where users were unable to raise an emergency work order as the service was not displaying. 

- Fixed an issue where sticky filters were appearing squeezed and at a reduced width.

- Fixed an issue where spaces within sites had the wrong parent value associated to them.

- Fixed an issue where the asset model index was crashing when there were a lot of records.

- Fixed an issue where users were receiving an error when trying to navigate between any work order page and the Assets section within the left-hand menu. 

- Fixed an issue where users were able to select asset models that were marked as un-selectable when creating a new asset.

- Fixed an issue where users were unable to create an asset as the location tree wasn’t displaying any results to choose from.

- Fixed an issue where the [arts ordering screen was showing child categories as well as parent categories.

- Fixed an issue where recurring work schedules that had associated assets were spawning work orders without these assets linked.

- Fixed an issue where a work order’s associated assets weren’t showing in the assets field when uploading a compliance document against the work order.
