Introducing a Smarter, Smoother Log In Experience!
We’re always looking for ways to make your experience with Expansive FM more seamless, and this month, we’ve focused on refining our login process. These updates are all about making access to your account faster, clearer, and more intuitive.
Smarter Log In Flow
We’ve improved the way users log in by introducing a more intelligent process. Now, you will be asked for a username when hitting the log in page. Once entered, Expansive FM will check if an SSO (Single Sign-On) account is associated with the username. If an SSO account is found, we’ll guide you through that process, and if not, the password field will appear as usual. No unnecessary steps—just a more efficient login!
Forgot Your Username? No Problem!
We know that keeping track of usernames can be tricky. That’s why we’ve introduced a ‘Forgot Username?’ link on the login page. If you ever find yourself stuck, simply click the link, and we’ll send an email with the relevant details.
A More Helpful Welcome for SSO Users
New SSO users will now receive an email that includes guidance on how to pair your Expansive FM account with your SSO provider, ensuring a smooth onboarding experience.
It's worth noting, if you have SSO set up for your account, but haven't signed in since December, you will receive this email when you next try to sign in and will need to follow the relevant steps to pair your account.
Please note, if multiple users share a single inbox, each user who has been set up with SSO will receive an individual email to that inbox. Please ensure you are pairing the correct user account mentioned in the email.
Enhanced User Index with SSO Filtering
Finding and managing users is now easier than ever! We’ve updated the User Index to allow filtering by SSO status. You can now quickly sort and identify users with an SSO account and those who have successfully paired with an SSO provider.
