Smarter Pricing, Better Scheduling, and More Control Across the Platform
We’ve rolled out a new set of updates designed to give you more flexibility, clearer cost control, and smoother day-to-day workflows. From smarter quote pricing to improved dashboards and invoicing, this release focuses on reducing friction and increasing visibility where it matters most.
Here’s what’s new 👇
💰 Guaranteed Maximum Price Quoting
We’ve introduced a Guaranteed Maximum Price to give customers greater confidence and control over quote pricing.
When this feature flag is enabled, users can now choose how quotes are priced at the point of request:

Fixed Quote, or
-
Guaranteed Maximum Price
Contractors can then select either:

An agreed rate card, or
-
A custom rate for the work if they are enabled to do so
The final price of the quote is automatically calculated as the lowest of:

Time spent on site × rate, or
-
The maximum price specified
This ensures pricing stays fair, transparent, and capped - protecting both customers and contractors from unexpected costs.
🧾 Uncaptured Spend & Invoicing Improvements
📎 Attach Uncaptured Spend to Invoices
Managing uncaptured spend is now much simpler.
Users can:

Select uncaptured spend records

Use a new bulk action: “Attach to invoice”
Attached costs are automatically included in invoice totals and displayed clearly under “Other costs” on the invoice view screen.
📥 Import, Export, and Bulk Update Spends
We’ve significantly upgraded the uncaptured spend area with new bulk tools:

Import spends using an Excel template

Create or update multiple spend records at once
-
Export spends for offline review
-
Apply bulk updates to multiple records in a single action
These improvements reduce manual effort and make spend management far more scalable.
📊 Faster Dashboard Creation
Creating and updating dashboards is now quicker and more intuitive.
Users can now:

Apply filters directly on index screens, and
-
Instantly turn those views into dashboard widgets
No more rebuilding filters from scratch - just create widgets exactly as you see them.
⏱️ Improved SLA Management
We’ve enhanced the SLA workflow to support better collaboration.
Contractors can now:

Suggest new attendance SLAs directly in the system
Admins are automatically notified and can approve or reject the suggestion. If approved, the time-to-fix SLA updates automatically, keeping everything aligned without manual intervention.
🔔 Notifications Enhancements
We’ve made notifications more proactive and inclusive:

A new notification type can now alert contractors when a work order is abandoned

Quote requesters are now automatically included in quote submitted notifications when they have an admin user type
This keeps the right people informed at the right time — without extra configuration.
✅ Bulk Approval Changes
Users can now filter results by Invoice Groups as opposed to Organisation - meaning costs across multiple invoices can be approved to the same invoice.
Users who use consolidated cycles will also see the option to bulk approve costs into a cycling invoice here.
