🧾 Consolidated Invoice Cycling

We’ve enhanced consolidated cycling invoicing to provide greater flexibility and control.

Users can now choose from a wider range of invoicing cycles, including:

• Weekly
• Monthly
• Last day of the month
• Financial period
• A configurable time before the financial period ends

This allows for more precise alignment with financial and operational processes.

Users with the relevant permission can now manage these cycles in a dedicated area within Settings. 

🌍 Translations & Localisation

Improved Translation Accuracy

• Implemented static translations to enhance consistency across the platform

Multi-Language Settings

• Admin users can now configure translations for custom settings such as:
  • Asset categories
  • Cost codes
  • Site Types
  • Navigation Items
  • Service Types
  • Work Order Types
  • Document Types 
  • Building Types
    
    
• Here, they can use AI to populate fields for ease 
• There is an import/ export functionality that allows users to import any translations for enabled languages 

User Language Preferences

• Users can now:
  • Set a preferred language
  • Define a locale in their profile

This ensures a more personalised and regionally appropriate experience across the platform.

📱 Engineer App Enhancements

Work Order Sign-Off

• Introduced a feature flag requiring contractor sign-off before closure.
• When enabled:
  • Users must enter an access code to check out of a work order

Feature Flag Improvements

• Consolidated check-in/check-out feature flags into a single Settings area
• Users can now select preferred configurations instead of toggling multiple flags

Locale Awareness

• Added locale-aware formatting across the app
• Currency and date formats now adjust based on user locale

🔧 Parts Costing

The parts area has been significantly improved to streamline costing workflows.

• Users can now mark parts as available for costing within the settings area.
• When adding cost lines, users can search and select from these pre-approved parts (subject to site and contractor availability).
• Selecting a part will automatically populate:
  • Description
  • Price
  • Tax rate

Additionally, users still have the flexibility to:

• Add custom parts directly from the searchable list, maintaining current workflows where needed.

⚙️ General Platform Improvements

Permissions

• Introduced a new permission for uploading files to work orders.
• This enables internal operatives to upload files without requiring full work order management access.

Service Requests

• Enhanced filtering on the service requests index, allowing users to distinguish between:
  • Planned work
  • Reactive work

Imports & Exports

• Improved performance for both imports and exports.
• Added a dedicated management area in Settings for imports.
• Users can now also view a complete history of their exports.

Quote Requests

• Added smarter controls around due dates:
  • Prevents selecting past dates
  • Warns on same-day due dates
  • Applies role-based restrictions for short-term deadlines

Enhanced remedial actions process:

• Users can now create a single linked work order
• Multiple remedial actions can be attached to it
• Removes the need to create individual work orders for each action

• Upon saving the form, a quote request modal is automatically presented
