AI Quote Extractor 📨
We’re taking automation one step further with the ability to generate contractor quotes directly from uploaded PDF documents. Using AI, the system intelligently parses the contents of the uploaded file to extract all the necessary data required to build a complete quote.
This means faster onboarding of quote information, reduced manual entry, and fewer errors. Whether it’s cost breakdowns, timelines, or material lists, our AI works behind the scenes to ensure everything is captured and formatted for review and approval. It’s a game-changer for speeding up quote creation and improving consistency across the board.
AI Quote Analysis 🔬
We’re also introducing a smarter way to review submitted quotes, with AI-powered analysis built directly into the platform. Now, when a PDF quote is submitted, the system automatically detects and displays it for review. What makes this even more powerful, is the structured summary generated by AI. This includes an overview of costs, with rate comparisons to local or industry benchmarks, checked against known market prices.
The analysis can also evaluate the quoted time estimate—such as whether a four-hour job duration is reasonable—and offers a verdict on the overall quote value. Where needed, the system will flag suggestions or red flags, like unusually high markups or excessive fees.
All of this analysis is shown inline within the quote review screen, keeping your workflow uninterrupted.
Contractor management 👷
Managing new contractors is now more efficient with the ability to revoke contractor invites directly within the Invited tab. This added flexibility helps you maintain a cleaner, more accurate contractor list and simplifies onboarding by removing unresponsive or incorrect invitations without hassle.
Work Order Bulk Actions ✏️
We've also upgraded the work order bulk editing functionality. Users with the new permission to abandon work orders can now select multiple jobs and abandon them in one go. During this process, a reason must be provided, ensuring clarity and traceability. The selected work orders are then updated with the appropriate cancelled status, their associated SLA logs are retired, and the jobs are marked as non-billable. This enhancement streamlines operational management and ensures better oversight of work order lifecycle events.
Request Messaging 💬
We’ve enhanced the way service requests are communicated to contractors. Now, when a service request email is sent out, it includes the original request message. This ensures that contractors have all the essential context upfront, helping them make faster and more informed decisions before accepting a job.
To further support clarity, the activity log on work orders has also been improved. The service request message is now included as part of the status change updates and is visible to contractors. This means everyone stays on the same page throughout the job lifecycle, reducing back-and-forth and improving transparency.
