Helping to determine the correct work order flow associated with various assets.
- Each asset group can have various request types associated with it. Request types determine the type of work an order is created as when selected
- In the Asset Group screen, each request type is listed under the asset category it correlates to, which you can view by heading to 'Asset Groups' under settings
- Within this screen, you can amend a request type by simply selecting the pencil icon on the right-hand side. Here you can also disable the request type by unchecking the enabled box in the form that appears
- To add a new request type, click the Add Request Type button. On doing so, a pop-up form will appear where you can name the request type and assign it a work order type. The work order type will determine which workflow a work order goes to should this type be selected.
- When creating a new request type, you have the option to choose if a Compliance Document is required. If so, select the relevant document in the Required Compliance Document Type filed. See How do I create a compliance document type for help
- If the request type relates to planned or compliance works, you will need to select 'Yes' in the Usable for Recurring Work Orders section. Upon selecting this, you'll see the option to add a 'Calendar Alias' - this is the text which shows in the planned/compliance calendar.
