How do I request a quote for a work order?

Ask contractors for quotes for work that needs to be completed.

- Once you have accepted a new work order request, you can request a service or request a quote, as detailed in this article

- Should you need to request a quote, a form will appear that allows you to select what contractors you would like a quote from, alongside a message you can send them, as well as any attachments relating to the work order and a due date for when you need the quote by

- After this, an individual quote request will be created for each contractor you selected in the form, and these are visible under the quotes tab on the left-hand menu

- By selecting a quote request from here, you can see if any quotes have been submitted and there is also a link to the work order they relate to, in addition to any messages between the contractor and yourselves

- You can review a quote by selecting it within the quote view screen, where you will see details such as lead time, time to complete and a breakdown of costs, or you can head to the dashboard and select the Quotes to Review tile

- From here, you can choose to accept or reject the quote, as well as request authorisation should you need to enquire about details of the quote internally

- Once you are happy with a quote, you can accept it, where you will then have the option to add your costs codes, purchase order number if applicable, and select the relevant budget

- The work order will become assigned to the relevant contractor and a spend limit will be applied to the work order as per the quote
